Upgraded to a spacious room that boasted a charming balcony with scenic town views, I found the accommodations clean and welcoming. The well-sized bathroom featured a notably large walk-in shower, enhancing my overall comfort. While the absence of tea and coffee-making facilities in the room was a slight drawback, the in-house restaurant proved to be a highlight, serving reasonably priced local dishes. The breakfast selection was impressive, featuring a variety of breads, meats, cheeses, and fresh produce, as well as customizable egg dishes. The staff's warm reception was evident, particularly from a young attendant at check-in. the hotel offers free parking options, facilitating easy access for those exploring the region. The proximity to nearby attractions, including the church noted in the Sound of Music, further enhances the hotel's appeal. For those seeking both luxury and moderate pricing, Hotel Krone stands as a fine option, balancing comfort with financial wisdom. Its offerings make it suitable for both leisure and budget-conscious travelers.
